Meet The Team

We are grateful to have such a wonderful team of instructors with a heart and passion for dance. Below is a list of our current dance studio instructors.


Season Cavalla-Cooper has dance training in Jazz, Hip-Hop, Ballet, Modern, Tap, and Gymnastics. She was a dance teacher at The Dance Studio of Fresno for 21 years.

· Married to CJ Cooper since April 2010, has two children:
Autumn and Terrance. Graduated from California State
University, Fresno with a Bachelor’s Degree focusing on Business
Management. In 2002 she was selected by California State
University Fresno as an Outstanding Teacher.

Kaitlyn Margarian: Studio Manager
Kaitlyn started dancing at The Dance Studio of Fresno in 1991 at the young age of three. During her many years of dance training she focused mainly on Jazz, Tap, and Ballet that she continued to partake in until the beginning of College. During her second year at Fresno State, she was approached by Season to come help open The Dance Studio 2 and learn the business of running a dance studio. She's been the manager of TDS2 since the studio opened in Fall 2007. Kaitlyn prides herself on making the studio run as smoothly as possible by handling all day-to-day operations, helping the Elite Competition Team with their practice schedules and competition entries, as well as organizing the TDS2 Annual Recital that is held every June.
Kaitlyn is a graduate of California State University, Fresno with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. 

Rachelle B

Rachelle Boles: specializes in Ballet, Lyrical/Contemporary, and Hip-Hop
 Rachelle has studied dance since 1994, with a focus in Jazz, Ballet and Hip-Hop. She has taken master classes from Mia Michaels, Brian Freedman, Ted Levy, Chebar Williams, Mark Goodman and Gina Starbuck. She used to be a member of the award winning competition teams at The Dance Studio of Fresno and the MKF Altered Modalities Dance Company. Rachelle was a Production Assistant for the Miss California Pageant from 2007-2009.

Rachelle has taught for the last several years at The Dance Studio 2 and The Dance Company. She is now exclusively at TDS2 and enjoys teaching the art of dance to our young aspiring dancers. When she isn’t teaching, she is an Assistant Manager at Parc Grove Commons Apartments. In her down time Rachelle loves to spend time with her husband and son.


Kendra Collins: specializes in Ballet & Tap
Kendra has a background in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, Hip-Hop and African, having trained extensively at TDSF since early childhood and has been part of the TDS2 staff since 2015. She continued training during her studies at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, where she graduated with a B.A. in Fine Arts, specifically in Dance.  Kendra has had the opportunity to perform pieces created by Sidra Bell, Bill T. Jones, William Forsythe and Trisha Brown, while attending numerous workshops such as American Dance Festival in North Carolina and New York, BODYTRAFFIC in Los Angeles, and Chuthis in Fresno. She also had the pleasure of being a personal dance assistant to Ballet Mistress Chebar Williams for the NUVO Dance Convention. More recently, Kendra has choreographed three musical productions for the Selma Arts Center including Young Frankenstein, Shrek and Big Fish. In addition to teaching dance, Kendra is pursuing her career as a licensed agricultural appraiser.

Taylor Coloka: specializes in Pep Technique, Director of Jumpstart Teams
Taylor began training in dance at age three. She has competed in many genres of dance including jazz, lyrical, modern, ballet and hip-hop as well as training as a pom dancer for twelve years. She was captain of her varsity competition pom team and won the 2013 National Title in the Advanced Division. Since then, she has coached and choreographed for numerous pom teams in California. She danced professionally as an NFL Cheerleader for the San Francisco 49ers. Through this experience, she was a part of the first team to perform at Levi's Stadium and performed in the halftime show with Snoop Dogg.
Aside from dance, Taylor is currently attending Southern New Hampshire University in an online program to obtain her Bachelor's Degree in Digital Photography. She owns a photography business specializing in weddings, seniors, and portraits. Taylor also was crowned Miss Clovis 2015 and loves to serve in the community.


Erin Janssens: specializes in Ballet, Director Junior Elite Team
 Erin began her dance training at the age of seven, studying a wide range of disciplines including: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Ballroom. She continued her studies through High School where she attended Roosevelt School of the Arts, and into Fresno City College where she studied for a Dance Degree. At the age of 20, Erin was accepted into MKF Altered Modalities, a local, semi-professional contemporary dance company. She enjoyed seven years of training, traveling, and performing with the company.

Having started her teaching career at the age of 16, Erin has taught at several local studios in all genres of dance. Within the last five years she has narrowed her focus of instruction to the beautiful art of Ballet. Erin’s desire is to encourage her students to appreciate the discipline, language, technique and consistency of ballet. Directing much attention to artistry and performance quality, Erin aims to inspire all dancers to embrace ballet as the tool to reaching their goals, as ballet is the foundation to every form of dance.


Emily Lulejian: specializes in Toddler classes
Emily began dancing at the age of two.  She joined The Dance Studio 2 when they first opened their doors in 2007.  She later joined the competition team in 2010. She enjoys all styles of dance with an emphasis in jazz, contemporary, and hip hop.  During her years as a competition dancer, she had the privilege of dancing in music videos for artists such as Nic Neufield, Adam Hicks, and Omar Alhindi.  She served as a teacher’s assistant for many years before she began subbing in 2016.  She officially joined the TDS2 faculty in the fall of 2016 teaching toddler classes. She is currently attending Clovis Community College with a major in Early Childhood Education.  After finishing college, she hopes to become an Elementary School Teacher. 


Mandy Menes: specializes in Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Tap
 Mandy began dancing at three years old in the State of Kentucky and after moving to California she joined TDS2 when the Dance Studio opened in Fall 2007. She enjoys all genres of dance with emphasis in hip-hop, jazz, and contemporary. She has competed on The Dance Studio 2 Elite Competition Team since 2008 being an original member of the first competition team. She started subbing dance classes in 2014 and officially joined the TDS2 Staff in Summer 2015. She is currently attending California State University, Fresno and majoring in Kinesiology Exercise Science with hopes of becoming a Physical Therapist in the future.


Riley Patterson: Specializes in Toddler classes
Riley has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She started out at the Dance Studio of Fresno with Season and then followed her over to The Dance Studio 2 when she opened it in Fall 2007. Riley joined the competition team in 2008, being one of the original team members. Riley enjoys contemporary, ballet, lyrical, but her favorite of all is Jazz. She officially joined our TDS2 staff in Fall of 2016 teaching toddler classes. She is currently attending Clovis Community College and will be transferring to Fresno State with an associates degree in Early Elementary Education and Liberal studies. With a major in Liberal Studies, Riley hopes to become a Elementary School Teacher and helping out in the Elementary Cheer program. 


Jessica Renna: specializes in Toddler classes, Director Junior Elite Team
Jessica began dancing at The Dance Studio of Fresno at three years old and transferred to The Dance Studio 2 when it opened in Fall 2007. She is an original Elite Dancer, having competed for TDS2 for seven years as well as being a Team Captain for her younger peers to look up too. In Fall 2013 she started subbing dance classes and in Fall 2014 she officially joined TDS2 faculty, co-directing a Jumpstart Competition Team and teaching toddler dance classes. She now co-directs our Junior Elite Competition Teams with Erin Janssens. She is currently attending Fresno Pacific University, majoring in Child Psychology.
